GUILLERMO SANTOS
FOUNDER
Guillermo Santos is a Registered Nurse with over 15 years of experience in the medical field. He is the Founder of Beauty by Santos. He has over 3 years of experience in Injectables, Dermal Fillers, Acne, Hyperpigmentation Treatments, IV Therapy, Microneedling, Mesotherapy and Platelet Rich Plasma, and continues to learn and acquire experience in the growing field of Medical Aesthetics.
He began his career in the medical field as a Certified Nursing Assistant and since then has worked in a number of settings, serving patients throughout Rhode Island in various positions and specialty areas; which include mental health, med surge, skilled homecare, medical compliance and the management and development of various teams.
With his thoughtful and caring approach to each patient interaction, Guillermo has built credibility in the medical field in Rhode Island, particularly as a seasoned nurse caring for patients in the Latino community.
He is shifting all the knowledge, passion and dedication he has acquired from the field to Beauty by Santos. His goal is to offer a safe, high quality, tranquil environment where each client’s beauty and wellness needs are met. His motto is Where Beauty Meets Wellness, and this intention carries throughout the space and services.
When Guillermo is not at Beauty by Santos, he is enjoying the tranquility of being near the ocean, fishing or taken in the view. You might find him grilling with his wife and children, or serving a family member in need.
SANDRA CARRUTHERS
MEDICAL DIRECTOR
Our Medical Director, Sandra Carruthers, is a Nurse Practitioner practicing since 2022, with a focus on family medicine and clinical interest in primary and preventative medicine, patient-centered care, pediatrics, and weight management. She is board-certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, and is certified in wound care, weight management, aesthetics injector and IV nutrition.
Sandra received her Master of Science in Nursing at Walden University and since then has been taking care of patients across the lifespan of all ages in Primary Care. She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, American Nurses Association, and Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society of Nursing.
She worked as a Director of Nurses for Elmwood Home Care for several years and Acute Dialysis Nurse for Davita.
In her spare time, she says, “I love to travel to new and exciting places” She also enjoys spending time with family and friends, dancing and being near the ocean.
